Summer School and Intensives
Summer School
The CAPIm Summer School is an annual gathering for artists, curators, designers, and researchers whose work engages with the broad field of imagination and contemporary artistic practice. It offers participants a space to exchange and develop their practice together across disciplines.
Each edition is located in Marseille connected to ongoing artistic research, grounding the program in situated experience and local context. The program is organized in collaboration with local institutions and practitioners.
The program welcomes participants from the MA, MFA, and PhD programs at KKH and HDK-Valand, as well as international artistic researchers.
Intensives
CAPIm’s Intensives are week or shorter programmes that bring together invited thinkers and practitioners to engage with current questions in artistic research and the political imaginary. Through presentations and conversations, the intensives explores different themes, methods and material — shaping practices, publics, and the organisational forms that sustain them. Sessions take place in person and/or online, and are open to students, practicing artists and researchers.
